MARCH BREAK 2025
HOME IS
WHERE THE HAY LIES
We are specialized in the rescue, rehabilitation, and retraining of horse and ponies in need giving them a second chance at life. Whether it be as a riding horse, a companion, or just a pasture pet.
Many horses and ponies go on to amazing homes, and some remain with us as permanent residents, either due to medical issues, age or if capable they enter into one of our programs, some of which are non-riding.
The animals who enter our programs help us to continue our efforts by generating an income supporting their fellow herd mates and the continued mission and rescue efforts of Behind The Bit.

The program that they run has been so beneficial to all my children and now my granddaughter. From riding, learning about horse behavior and health and volunteering they have been an amazing group to be part of.
Laura Lynn takes great care of all of her rescues! All of the horses / ponies are well groomed, provided with any veterinary care they may need, given lots of love and attention, and rehabilitated to their full potential, whether that be as a pasture pet or part of her riding program.
Staff were always great with my daughter making sure she was comfortable and felt safe. She was even designated a particular pony (Ringo) when she rode because they felt comfortable with each other. she enjoyed her time riding very much!
