Ages: 10+

Beginner western riding classes are $45/hr (each class is an 1 hour ), they are booked and pre-paid in sets of 4, 6 or 8 lessons. We teach small group seasons, with very limited spaces.

Each lesson consists of grooming, tacking (learning to saddle/bridle) and western riding.

We strongly believe in teaching from the ground up which allows for the rider to learn all the basic skills to be able to eventually groom, tack and ride without assistance for future riding experiences weather it be with us , another location, on holiday, or if they decide to lease or purchase a horse of their own down the Rd.

Our riders are well equipt and prepared.

This also allows them to build confidence and a bond from the ground up with their mount. They will also Build stronger understanding and respect of the experience.

Please do NOT arrive more then 10 mins prior to your start time, Classes start promptly so please do not be late.

Students are required to wear riding boots (rubber boots, mountain boots, cowboy boots, paddock boots, any boot with a heel) for safety and insurance reasons.

Closed toed foot wear is required by all you attended the farm not just students. If you wear Improper footwear you will not be permitted on the property again this is for safety and insurance reasons.

We do have helmets for students to use but limited in size and number.
We suggest if you wish to continue on with riding as a future activity to purchase your own inexpensive Troxel helmet (best places/prices are Peavy and greenhawk)
